This weekend, the La Bodega family lost someone very special to us. 💔
Don Luis was more than a member of our team — he was part of our family. He was the kind of person who was always willing to help, always willing to step in, and never hesitated to do whatever was needed for Bodega and the people around him.
His kindness, work ethic, loyalty, and willingness to lend a hand will never be forgotten. People like Don Luis leave an impact that goes far beyond the work they do — they leave a mark on the people fortunate enough to know them.
Our hearts are heavy, and our deepest condolences, prayers, and love go out to his family and everyone who loved him.
Thank you, Don Luis, for everything you gave to La Bodega and to all of us personally. We were blessed to have you as part of our journey, and you will always be part of the Bodega family.
Rest in peace, Don Luis. You will be deeply missed and never forgotten. 🕊️❤️

To get to the location on Comstock Avenue in Whittier, public transport options include taking the Metro bus 50 and getting off at Pickering Avenue, then walking straight down for two blocks. Alternatively, take the Green Line train to Norwalk Station, transfer to the Metro bus 265 towards Whittwood Mall, and get off at Comstock Ave & Scott Ave.
For driving/parking directions, take the I-605 freeway towards Whittier and exit onto Beverly Blvd. Turn left onto Scott Ave and continue for three blocks until you reach Comstock Ave. Street parking is available nearby or there is a parking lot located directly across from the venue.
