R.I.P. Giovanni’s in Fullerton. I was alerted today. Trying to get a final confirmation, but it appears to have permanently closed. It was a great run! 1958-2024. Post your memories and commiserations here. 😢

A section of the I-5 freeway in Fullerton will be named Tommy Lasorda Memorial Highway, as Lasorda lived in Fullerton for a period of time before the Dodgers moved in 1958.

Hall of Fame manager Tommy Lasorda has died at the age of 93 after suffering a sudden cardiopulmonary arrest at his home Thursday night.

By Public Transport:
You can take the Orange County Transportation Authority (OCTA) bus to Williamson Avenue. The closest bus stop is located on the corner of Harbor Boulevard and Williamson Avenue at the Fullerton Transportation Center. From here, you can walk east on Williamson Avenue for about 10 minutes until you reach your destination.

By Driving:
If you are driving, take the 91 Freeway and exit at Harbor Boulevard. Head north on Harbor Boulevard until you reach Williamson Avenue where you will make a left turn. The restaurant is located a few blocks down on the right-hand side of the street. There is limited street parking available in front of the restaurant or nearby parking lots.
