Today, we pause to honor and remember Sergeant Michael Domingo Paredes and Officer Joseph Anthony Santana of the El Monte Police Department, who made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty on June 14, 2022.

Their courage, dedication, and selfless service to our community will never be forgotten. As we reflect on their legacy, we also remember the families, friends, and fellow officers who continue to carry their memory with them every day.

The City of El Monte stands united in gratitude and remembrance, honoring two heroes whose commitment to protecting others came at the highest cost.

May we never forget their sacrifice, and may their legacy continue to inspire generations to come.

To get to the restaurant on E. Flair Drive in El Monte by public transport, you can take bus route 270 and get off at the E. Flair/Durfee stop. From there, walk east on E. Flair Drive for about 5 minutes until you reach the restaurant.

If you're driving to the restaurant, take the I-10 freeway to exit 27B for Santa Anita Ave. Follow Santa Anita Ave north for about a mile and turn right onto E. Flair Drive. The restaurant will be on your left-hand side.

There is parking available in the lot directly in front of the restaurant.
