Happy Birthday to Paolo Rossi! Widely regarded as one of Italy’s greatest soccer players, Rossi is one of three players throughout history who has won the Golden Boot for being a top goal scorer, the Golden Ball for being the top player, and the FIFA World Cup in the same tournament. He was named one of the best living soccer players at the 100th anniversary of FIFA in 2004 and worked as a pundit for various networks until his death in 2020. Today we celebrate his life and incredible influence on Italian soccer.

He has had success as a crossover performer, bringing classical music to the top of international pop charts.
