Here is a bit of sobering news, and Merry Christmas!!
Water for 1 in 7 Americans Contaminated with Unsafe Levels of PFAS
According to new U.S. EPA test results published in November, drinking water for at least 49.5 million Americans—roughly one in every seven people—contains unsafe levels of PFAS “forever chemicals,” with over 944 water systems across the country failing to meet new EPA standards approved in 2024.

Yelp-Google reviews reach record numbers
Yelp only allows approved reviews, so if the poster does not have enough activity, or it sounds too much like a sales pitch, they won't count it. Still, we are now up to 130 visible, public reviews. At 4.6, we average 9 of the 5 star reviews for every negative posting.
Google is a bit looser in their standards. We have 105 reviews on Google, at an 8:1 ratio of 5 star versus negative.
By comparision, a scan of Yelp reflects Nestle Water, Ready Refresh, Sparkletts and Primo ALL have a solid 1 star, the lower rating possible. That is an impressive show of futility. You would expect SOMEONE would say something nice about them.
Given that most people use Yelp to bash companies and review sites in general to share negative experiences, we are very grateful to our drivers, customer service reps, sales people and customers for the overwhelmingly positive feedback.

What happened to Sparkletts? Who is Primo? Combined with the below post about Arrowhead/Nestle, hopefully this will tie it all together for you. Sparklett’s History
1925-founded in Los Angeles
1964-bought by Foremost Dairies then McKesson
2000-Bought by Danone (French Yogurt company)
2003-DS Waters formed when Danone and Suntory of Japan merge
2013-14 Company taken private, then sold to Cott Beverage, a Canadian company largely in carbonated beverages
Along the way, company assembled brands like Sparkletts, Alhambra, Sierra Springs, Hinckley Springs.
2020-Cott buys Primo Brands (largely a water vending machine company) and renames the new water company Primo Water Corp.
2024 (November)-Primo brands, owner of Sparkletts, merges with Blue Triton, bringing familiar names Arrowhead, Nestle, Ready Refresh, Sparkletts and Primo into the nation’s largest water company, with revenues of $6.5 billion
2025 (March)-companies combine operations. Sparkletts operations largely shut down and people laid off. Nestle/BlueTriton/Arrowhead appears to be running most of the new company routes and facilities. Customers calling get Primo customer service and are on hold for 1-3 hours to get service. Customers skipped. New fees for delivery, new customer requirements (must call or acknowledge need for delivery beforehand or be fined or billed) as well as higher rates for bottles and billing implemented.
2025-(May to present) Master’s Coffee and Water sees record website traffic. Record calls to our switchboard and record numbers of new customers. From the family taking 3 bottles a month to the distribution center taking 400, we are benefitting greatly from this merger and welcome the attention.
if you know someone this affects, please share. We will be glad to help. We are busy, but always have room for one more 😁
