Have you visited Santa Cruz, CA?

It's one of the beautiful and sleepy town on the Pacific Coast, north of Monterey and south of San Francisco.

We're moving there this week to continue our life journey closer to our family. We're moving our coffee roasting operation up there also, that is to say we are hatching a plan to set up a roasting operation to continue serving our customers and friends of Sootha with same quality artisan roasted organic coffee with minimal disruption.

Many of you already heard the news... our retail shop at the Northwood Town Center will close in February. Check out our new website where I posted a blog piece about our closure https://soothacoffee.com/finishing_well.html. While you're there, please check out other features of the e-commerce site where we are offering our roasted organic coffee beans for home delivery.

Closing a retail coffee shop operation due to some unforeseen events creates a whole set of emotional and logistical load that is not easy to process. This post looks at the process from a personal perspective.

Public transport: Take the bus to the "Irvine Spectrum Center" stop. From there, walk south down Irvine Center Drive until you reach the intersection with Barranca Parkway. Sootha Coffee should be on your right-hand side.

Driving/parking: Take the I-405 to the Irvine Center Drive exit and head east towards the Irvine Spectrum Center. Turn left onto Barranca Parkway and look for parking in the nearby lots or street parking. Sootha Coffee should be on your right-hand side.
