Have you visited our “Friends & Family Mart” at our cafes?
We love Asian convenience store culture. Our hope was to bring a small slice of that to the Valley. Our mini-mart is stocked with some of our favorite grab & go items. Everything from Japanese inspired egg salad sandos, banana & chia puddings, deli sandwiches and canned/bottled drinks.
What else would y’all want to see in the fridge?

What people say
House Roots Coffee is a coffee shop that truly stands out from the rest. Located on San Fernando Mission Boulevard, this specialty coffee shop and music venue is deeply rooted in its community. The team behind House Roots Coffee is passionate about people, coffee, and their home - the San Fernando Valley. They believe in providing affordable, freshly brewed coffee from the best roasters around the world while inviting their customers to partner with them in "cup for a cause."
What sets House Roots Coffee apart is their commitment to giving back to their community. Profits from each brew, pastry, and more are divided and dedicated to local community programs, relief efforts, and non-profit projects overseas. By doing so, they inspire their community to invest in people and use the power of their dollar to do more.
But that's not all - House Roots Coffee also serves as a hub for creativity and art. Live concerts and a gallery featuring local artists are an integral part of who they are. They remain committed to walking with people from start to finish - caring about every cup of coffee as much as they did the first and regularly updating those who've partnered with them on their growth and progress.
In short, House Roots Coffee is not just a place for great coffee - it's a place where you can make a difference in your community while enjoying delicious brews and supporting local artists. Their dedication to coffee, cause, and community truly shines through in everything they do.
