Last Saturday felt like a dream!
Thank you for everyone who dropped in to celebrate 10 years of our Granada Hills cafe.
At this point we probably sound like a broken record but we don’t care. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
We wouldn’t be here without each and everyone person that’s ever stepped into the cafe. We love you so much SFV 💚

Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts, to everyone who came out to celebrate with us yesterday.
We’re taking this Sunday to slow down and reflect on just how grateful we are.
10 years ago, we launched a crowdfunding campaign to build our first cafe. Since then, our Granada Hills shop has taken on many different forms. From remodels, growing menu offerings, new friends coming, old friends going, things have changed, and a lot of time has passed.
But the one thing we fought hard to keep the same was the feeling of hospitality and gratitude.
In the early days of our journey we would remind ourselves, “The coffee we serve is only as important as the people we’re serving.” It’s not a shtick when we say that we love serving people.
Beyond the trends, the viral drinks, and (we used to be all about that), what we set out to build 10 years ago was something much simpler:
A constant sense of home in our hometown.
That’s something we’ll never stop pushing for.
So, as we look back at where we started and everything that’s changed since then, all we really want to say is thank you.
Thank you for growing with us. Thank you for remembering with us. Thank you for being home to us.

10 years goes by in a flash.
As we think back to all the people we’ve had the privilege to work with, serve, and say goodbye to, we can’t help but give respect and honor to one of the people who has been with House Roots Coffee from the very beginning.
Our all-smiles manager, David. He helps us build up our team so the culture of who we are is expressed through every cup and every interaction.
Cheers to you, David. Cheers to our managers, all our baristas, bakers, and BOH crew. Cheers to 10 years of building something meaningful.

To get to this coffee shop on San Fernando Mission Boulevard in Los Angeles using public transport, take the Metro Red Line and get off at the North Hollywood station. Walk towards the intersection of Lankershim Boulevard and Chandler Boulevard where you can take either of the buses 152, 154 or 162 westbound towards Mission Hills. Get off at your destination stop which is located on San Fernando Mission Boulevard.
If you are driving to this location, take the I-5 freeway and exit onto Osborne Street. Head west until you reach San Fernando Mission Boulevard where you will make a right turn. You should be able to find parking on either side of the street close to your destination.
