We truly appreciate our fantastic and loyal guests, so it is disappointing when someone takes advantage and steals from a small family owned business. This customer stole one of our Deneen Pottery hand thrown ceramic mugs that we sell in the restaurant. She took the mug into the restroom to put in her purse. When the owner confronted her on her way out and asked if she had a mug in her purse, she lied and said she left the mug in the restroom.

Stealing a mug may not seem like much to some, but please consider that we don’t get these mugs for free. We purchase these custom, quality, pottery mugs to serve our OPH blend coffee, and we would like to continue to serve our coffee in the mugs. We can’t do that if people steal them. We know they’re beautiful, which is why we have them for sale!

We obscured identifying photos of this guest because our aim isn’t to blast her but instead to bring awareness to her actions and the impact it has on a small family run business.

To the customer who stole our mug, I hope you think of us every time you drink your morning coffee out of our mug ☕️.

To everyone else, thank you for your loyalty! We can’t wait to see you this Sunday for some 🥞!
