Thank you to everyone who showed up for our 1st Women in Business Panel. For the women, for El Sereno, for our community to come together and learn. What was meant for our back patio became something bigger than us!! 🤎
Hearing the women speak reminded us why this matters, and how beautiful and powerful their stories are.
To everyone who supported, spoke, and showed up, thank you 🤍💐

Today is a celebration of the journey that got us here.
In 2022, the RBP was introduced to LA County, but it wasn’t in El Sereno yet. With the help of so many of you — signing letters, supporting us — and the staff of our elected officials who showed up, answered emails, and guided us at every step, it came to El Sereno.
Even after it was approved, we faced setbacks that mentally put things on hold. When it moved to the state level and our patio wasn’t being approved. Again, people showed up for us!
At every step, someone stood with us.
This is bigger than beer and wine.
It’s perseverance. Advocacy. Not giving up. 🤎

Meet Jesús! He’s local from Highland Park and the heart behind Chuy Cheladas. He’s been making micheladas for about 8 years, and we’re excited to carry his michelada mix at the restaurant.
We wanted someone close to home, using fresh ingredients with no shortcuts, and it just feels right to have Chuy’s Cheladas here.
Come celebrate with us on February 14th and try one made by Jesús himself 🍻

We’ll be closed Friday, January 30, to stand with our community and immigrant families.
Closing is never easy for a small family business, but this is who we are and where we come from. Our parents immigrated from Mexico to build a life here. We all deserve the same opportunity and to live without fear.
If you’re able, come support us on Saturday, January 31🤎

What people say
According to recent reviews by Los Angeles Times, LA Weekly and Eater LA, Zingo Tacos offers delectable Mexican cuisine that is worth trying. The reviews are all from within the past year and praise the restaurant's authentic flavors and fresh ingredients. LA Weekly remarked on the quality of the meats, noting their "moist texture" and "well-balanced flavor". While Eater LA complimented the restaurant's vegetarian options, stating that they were "just as satisfying as their meaty counterparts".
Customers who have dined at Zingo Tacos have also expressed positive feedback through online reviews. Many have praised the restaurant for its affordable prices, quick service and cozy atmosphere. One customer wrote on Yelp that "the tacos were amazing" while another commented that they had "never tasted guacamole so fresh". Nevertheless, there have been some critiques about Zingo Tacos' inconsistent seasoning - a common issue found in restaurants where dishes are cooked to order.
Overall, Zingo Tacos has garnered positive attention from both critics and customers alike. Their traditional Mexican flavors combined with affordability make this a must-visit eatery for anyone searching for authentic cuisine in Los Angeles.
