The Stuffed Sandwich The Stuffed Sandwich is a sandwich shop and family-style restaurant located on E Las Tunas Drive in Southern California. Owned and managed by Sam and Marlene Samaniego, this spot boasts of being the first craft beer joint in the area. The restaurant has a holiday schedule with an open window running from Tuesday, November 24th, to Saturday, November 28th. A recent social media post expressed gratitude for customers' support throughout a challenging year while announcing the outdoor patio's continued operation for dine-in customers alongside takeaway services.

This past year has been very trying for all of us.
A year ago Stuffed Sandwich was closed for a few
months and with all your help and support was able
to re-open and continue to serve you our sandwiches,
salads and selection of beers.

More than a few of you have gone above and beyond
to help me keep the doors open. You know who you are
and I can not thank you enough - Thank you so very much!

The month of May is very special for the Stuffed Sandwich.
The Stuffed Sandwich opened in May of 1976 - 45 years ago.
Happy Anniversary to us!
Stuffed Sandwich could not have been open for this long

Spring is here. The weather is beautiful and there is hope in the air
after the year we have all been through.

in addition to having the patio open or take-out.

Happy March 2021!
We have all officially made it through one year of
Covid-19. I hope you continue to stay well and safe.

March is my Surprise Brewery month.
This year I am taking you just over the hill
north of Los Angeles to Camarillo, Ca.

I am showcasing INSTITUTION ALE COMPANY.
This brewery started in 2013. It is operated by
the father and sons team of Roger, Ryan and Shaun Smith.

They have made their name in their hoppy IPA's.
This month I have four of their flagship beers and
four of their limited release beers on draft for
your enjoyment (please see complete list below).

I also have one special beer on draft in honor of
St. Patrick's Day. If we don't get shut down the day before
like last year I will have plenty of Corn Beef sandwiches,
Irish beers in the bottle and Flying Dog Irish Coffee Stout
on draft ready for you to celebrate!

This year's spring seasonal release is a Strong Pale Ale;
a little hoppy for a pale ale, traditional bitter finish

An IPA brewed with 100% Citra hops and White Wheat creating
a softer, fuller bodied IPA; has flavors of tropical fruit and citrus

Cryo Double IPA is brewed with a variety of hops: Cryo, Mosaic,
Cascade, Simcoe & Columbus hops; citrus and dank
***Cryo Hops are concentrated hops. The hop cones are frozen with
liquid nitrogen, then the lupulin glands are separated from the now
nearly completely debittered leaf. The glands that make up Cryo hops
are the concentrated bittering and oil containing portion of the hops

Imperial Red Rye Ale that's brewed with rye malt and citrus forward
hops; malty, strong and a bit of bitterness

Maple Brown Ale that balances toasted dark malts and American hops;

sweetness to this beer

Coffee Oatmeal Stout that is a creamy, full bodied oatmeal stout;

I am happy to announce that the patio is again open for
seating - lunch and dinner.
Tuesday thru Saturday 11:00am to 8:00pm.

Covid-19 is still with us. Living in Los Angeles County we are
still in the purple tier. This means that we still have to take
precautions and follow Covid-19 protocols including
wearing your mask at all times except while you are eating
and/or drinking. Please wear your mask while entering or
leaving the shop or walking to the restrooms. Please keep
6' distance while waiting to order. Please wash your hands
and/or use the sanitizer. If you have any Covid-19 symptoms

Valentine's Day is coming soon. For something a little different
I have some lovely beers available for you; some are sweet and

HAPPY NEW YEAR 2021 TO ALL!
I hope that you, your friends and family had a
happy, healthy and peaceful holiday season.

For more than a few of us 2020 was a very
challenging year. With that said there is much to
be grateful and thankful for.
I am grateful for all of us that have been lucky enough
to stay healthy.
I am so very thankful for all your love, friendship and
support this past year. Thank you for helping me keep
the Stuffed Sandwich open. I look forward to your
support again this year.
As of right now the patio will stay closed for dining
through February and possible longer until the
State of California determines it safe to reopen.
I am open for take out. You may come in to order or
call in your orders.

releases their special Eclipse Barrel Aged Imperial
Stout series. This year I received three different styles. I also
brought in Totality Imperial Stout which is the base

I have received this year's Anchor Merry Christmas/Happy New Year
Our Special Ale 2020. It is now on draft for your enjoyment!

The Duchesse Chocolate Cherry Ale keg went so fast that I ordered
another one. For those of you that missed out on it - I now have
the new keg of it on draft ready for your pleasure.

As many of you know - there is no indoor or patio dining

With everything that has gone on this year it's hard to believe
that the holidays are upon us.
I would like to wish you, your family and friends a very
healthy, happy, safe and joyous holiday season!

This year I have eight different holiday beers on draft and
one pale ale. This pale ale was ordered for the November
Variety of Ales line-up. The beer came in too late - but
since it's so good I didn't want you to miss out on it.
I have added it to the holiday line-up. Cheers!

You know it's the holiday time when Sierra Nevada Celebration and
Anchor Merry Christmas/Happy New Year Our Special Ale
arrive. I have both in bottles now available.
I also have the Anchor 1.5lt magnums and 2020 glassware in stock,
some holiday beer gift packages and of course lots of
vintage beers still available for you.

As many of you know - there is no indoor or patio dining
for the time being. I am doing take out. You may phone in
your orders or just come in and have a beer while you wait
for your order to be completed.

Here is the December Schedule (subject to change if
I am not busy enough with only take-out to stay open
until the Los Angeles County Health Dept let's me have
either the patio and/or indoor dining again).

beer distributor decided not to order any kegs this year.
I contacted my friend at the brewery and he is trying to get
one keg sent down to me. He's the one that sends me the glassware
every year. I really hope to get at least one keg as I have had the
Anchor Christmas beer on tap every year since 1994.****

By now most of you have probably heard the news that the
LA County Health Department has closed all outdoor dining
in addition to our already indoor dining closed since July.

This order goes into effect Wednesday Nov. 25th - 10:00pm
and continues thru Dec.21st - and may be extended?????

My patio will be open Tuesday and Wed. Nov. 24th & 25th.

I will be closed Thursday Nov. 26th for Thanksgiving.

I will be open Friday and Saturday Nov. 27th & 28th
11:00am to 8:00pm for take out orders only.

With your help and support I will be open Tuesday thru Saturday
Dec. 1st - 5th 11:00am to 8:00pm.
If I am busy enough I will continue to stay open. If not, I will have
to close until this order is lifted.

I will be closed Tuesday and Wed. Dec. 8th & 9th (minor surgery).
Hopefully I will be back open Thurs, Friday & Sat. Dec. 10,11 & 12th
