Yep, it’s true! The OC Register just recognized us for having some of THE BEST milkshakes in all of OC.
Strawberry is our fave flavor for summer! While you can get a milkshake any day at Blue Scoop you can only get strawberry during peak strawberry season ‘cause we like them fresh and fabulous here.
The season is winding down, so will our strawberry ice cream. So make the most of the final days of summer and get yourself a scoop or a shake 🥤🍓

At Blue Scoop, a summer flavor menu just wouldn’t be complete without our own take on my personal fave... a swirl of classic vanilla and milk chocolate ice creams, churned a bit longer than most of our recipes to create a lighter texture.
It is prime childhood nostalgia for me as this flavor is inspired by the small roadside ice cream shops that dot the landscape of the Midwest and Southeast where Mr Blue and I grew up.
These simple walk up shops open their windows and unfurl their patio umbrellas exclusively for the summer season. Gravel parking lots and well loved picnic tables are common but for certain…each and everyone sells chocolate and vanilla swirled soft serve.
Growing up I had my faves but I never knew any one of their names… we just called them all ‘whippy dips’.
Sometimes the specifics aren’t important… it’s the memories of carefree summers spent with friends and family that are special. And the ice cream… the ice cream is ALWAYS important!

If you're coming from downtown Yorba Linda, head north on Richfield Road. The ice cream shop and ice cream parlor will be located on your left-hand side. If you're relying on public transport, take Bus #8 and get off at the stop closest to Richfield Road. If you're driving, there is a small parking lot adjacent to the ice cream parlor where you can park your car. Alternatively, you can park along Richfield Road as long as there are no parking restrictions posted.
