What exactly makes a cocktail “Tiki?” 🍹
Tiki cocktails originated in the 1930s and became known for transporting guests somewhere tropical through layered rum blends, fresh juices, house-made syrups, elaborate garnishes, and a little bit of escapism in every sip. While many people associate tiki drinks with sweetness, true tiki cocktails are all about balance, complexity, texture, and creativity.
At , our latest take comes in the form of “Tales of Tucana.” Joe layered the Tucana with acid-adjusted pineapple juice, banana oleo, Campari, and Goslings Rum, allowing balanced tropical richness with bright acidity and a subtle bitter backbone. It’s finished with a fresh mint bouquet and banana chip garnish - refreshing and dangerously easy to drink.
