What people say
The Hart and the Hunter on Melrose Avenue has been a beloved staple in the Los Angeles dining scene from 2012 to 2020, known for its warm butter biscuits, patio brunches, and Southern charm. The restaurant bid a fond farewell to its loyal patrons and the vibrant Melrose community in March 2021, leaving behind a legacy of delicious comfort food and memorable experiences.
With original chefs Kris Tominaga and Brian Dunsmoor at the helm, The Hart and the Hunter created a welcoming atmosphere where guests could indulge in hearty dishes and enjoy the cozy ambiance. The warm butter biscuits, a signature offering, were a standout favorite that kept diners coming back for more.
While The Hart and the Hunter may have closed its doors, its spirit lives on through its sister restaurant in Seattle. And as Severance Wine Bar prepares to move into the space on Melrose Avenue, there is anticipation for new beginnings and exciting culinary experiences to come.
Cheers to The Hart and the Hunter for providing unforgettable memories and delectable biscuits to all who had the pleasure of dining there. It will be remembered fondly as a place where good food, good company, and good times intersected in perfect harmony.
