Los Pinos is a washed coffee hailing from the Chiapas highlands of the bourbon variety.

Los Pinos, the pines, takes its name from the forest canopies of Mexico's renowned producing state. This Bourbon variety is grown in the communities of Ángel Albino Corzo, where native trees thrive under pine shade, cooler air and protected soils slow the maturation of the cherry. The result: a coffee with natural density and depth, structured, expressive, and layered with notes of dark chocolate, caramel, honey, and an elevating lift of orange.

Rio Verde - Long term partnership with the Herbadera Co op in Guerrero, México began when we discovered a cup that was vibrant, juicy and big bodied.
The group composed of dozens of producers builds the lot into a natural anaerobic processing method to develop a unique profile, proudly distinct. Milling by our partners in ciudad Oaxaca aims to QC the green in a nuanced and systematic manner prior to packing in burlap sacks for shipment to Los Angeles.
The coffee is on bar at our cafes. Ask your barista for the espresso option or take a box of beans home.
