April is Parkinson’s awareness month - a month that holds a special place in our heart here at Vedder’s🫶🏼
For those who don’t know, our founder, Ashley Vedder, started Vedder’s Sweets after her husband, Justin, was diagnosed with young onset Parkinson’s in his 30’s. Ashley had a calling to create an ice cream that would cater to his specific dietary requirements and health needs, while also helping others with allergies, fighting different diseases, or those who just like to fill their bodies with the best ingredients.
The has helped our family so much. A portion of our sales has always gone to the organization, but for the last 10 days of April, we are donating 20% of all our proceeds will go to the Michael J. Fox Foundation to support Parkinson’s research.
