Dear Post & Beam Friends and Family,

It is with the deepest appreciation for your support of our restaurant that we have to inform you that Post & Beam will be closing its doors to make way for the long-planned redevelopment of Baldwin Hills Crenshaw Plaza.

Our last day of service will be Thursday, February 27, 2025. Post & Beam catering will be available, details to follow.

As is the case with many of you, our hearts will always be tied to this restaurant as we have shared countless memories, laughter, and delicious meals together. Originally, the building housed Golden Bird
Restaurant operated by the Stennis Family before it was remodeled and opened its doors as Post & Beam, created by Brad and Linda Johnson, Govind Armstrong, and David Borrego, in 2012. ln the summer of 2019, John Cleveland and wife, Roni Cleveland, became the proud owners of the beloved Post & Beam gem.

We are forever grateful for your unwavering support throughout the years celebrating your birthdays,
graduations, baby showers, and the opportunity to mourn with you for those we lost. We thank you for
keeping our business afloat during a pandemic. Your support meant everything. Thank you for being a
part of our family, and for making our restaurant a special place in your hearts and in the community.

As we take this time to prepare for the next leg in our journey, we appreciate your continued support. Our love for and commitment to this community remains strong.

This one hurts. Our brother Bryce Fluellen, a force in the community for food equity and social impact, became an ancestor this week. A job well done, though you had so much more in the pipeline. Such a huge loss to our community. You will be missed.

Public Transport:
Take the bus or train to the Crenshaw Station. From there, walk east on 43rd Street towards Crenshaw Boulevard. Turn left onto Crenshaw Boulevard and continue walking until you reach Santa Rosalia Drive. Turn right onto Santa Rosalia Drive and continue until you reach your destination.

Driving/Parking:
From Downtown LA, take the 10 Freeway West towards Santa Monica. Take the Crenshaw Boulevard exit and turn left onto Stocker Street. Turn right onto Crenshaw Boulevard, then turn left onto Santa Rosalia Drive. Continue until you reach your destination.

There is street parking available near the restaurants, but it can be limited during busy times. If you're having trouble finding a spot, there are paid parking lots nearby as well.
