French Dispatch ⚡️
Espresso | Roasted Chicory | Cream | Anise | Pecan Bitters | Spices
This was a staple to our collaboration and menu in support of the 2021 Wes Anderson Film. Originally titled the concrete masterpiece, my inspiration came primarily from my late father. He grew up in Paris and had a daily ritual consuming a blend of roasted chicory and instant coffee called Ricoré. Every morning I could smell the blistering nuttiness in the air, a sweet aroma that lingered through our kitchen. Watching this section of the film reminded me of this memory a lot. It’s back on the seasonal menu for now…but maybe forever for you dad.

In the cup it’s quite buttery and sweet like pastry with a delightful acidity of green apple and red currants. Try it as an espresso or handbrew or both. See you soon ✨

Los Andes ⚡️ by Drop Coffee Roasters on handbrew this week in Silverlake. This coffee was produced by COE winner Ernesto Menéndez and exclusively offered at Drop. The sl28 is quite complex with vibrant acidity of black currant, silky lemon curd like sweetness and fresh aromas of hibiscus. Enjoy it as an espresso or handbrew coffee. See you soon ✨

Tomorrow ⚡️Chinatown opens 7am-Midnight. To celebrate we’re offering any free coffee drink with purchase of bag of coffee all weekend.
It’s been quite the journey with 2 1/2 years of misery to (finally)open our doors. This location houses our LA Niteglow brewery and taproom featuring our beers exclusively on LUKR CZ taps. Come for the coffees, beers, matcha and natural wines.
