As Portfolio Coffeehouse was asked to leave our current location, we fought long and hard to operate until our new spot at 366 Cherry Avenue opens. Unfortunately, our current landlord was not open to giving us 2 more months to stay and so we've officially said goodbye after 32 years.
This tip jar will be split evenly between all team members (no managers).
Long Beach - we appreciate you ❤️
And don't worry, these friendly faces will return when we reopen as Alder & Sage! You may even see some at our sister locations during this hiatus so be sure to visit Berlin Bistro, Portfolio Fit, and Art Du Vin in the meantime.

What a bittersweet moment! You're looking at Portfolio staff (past & present) who came together to celebrate our last day of service yesterday, July 24th. So grateful for all of these friendly faces that we've had the pleasure of working with throughout the years.
Thank you to all who stopped in for one final taste of the original . We're thrilled that you took the time to visit us one last time before our move 🙏

To get to the location on E 4th Street in Long Beach, you can take the Metro Blue Line and get off at the 5th Street Station. From there, walk east on 5th Street for two blocks until you reach E 4th Street. Turn left and walk for one block until you see the destination on your right.
If driving, take the I-710 South and exit at Broadway/Alamitos Avenue. Turn left onto Alamitos Avenue and continue straight until you reach E 4th Street. Turn right onto E 4th Street and look for parking options in the surrounding area.
Alternatively, take the Pacific Coast Highway (CA-1) and turn onto Cherry Avenue heading north. Continue straight until you reach E 4th Street and turn left. Look for parking options in the surrounding area.
