To get to Santa Monica Pier via public transport, you can take the Expo Line from downtown Los Angeles towards Santa Monica and get off at the last stop. From there, you can walk down Ocean Avenue and turn onto the pier.

Alternatively, if you are driving, you can take the I-10 west towards Santa Monica and exit on 4th Street. Park at one of the parking lots nearby and walk down Ocean Avenue towards the pier.
