🍀 One Year Later… The Grand Opening They Never Had 🍀
On September 15, 2025, a new chapter began for Patsy’s Irish Pub.
Three people came together with one shared vision—not to reinvent Patsy’s, but to ensure that this beloved Mission Viejo institution would continue serving the community for generations to come.
One of those people was Kim, a familiar face who had spent the past 28 years behind the bar. For nearly three decades, she welcomed guests, celebrated milestones, poured countless pints, and became part of the reason so many people called Patsy’s their second home. After years of helping build its legacy, she became one of its owners.
Teaming up with her were longtime Patsy’s customers, Scott and Katie, who had spent years enjoying everything that made the pub special. Scott, a businessman and cybersecurity executive, whose has owned multiple successful businesses, and Katie shared a passion for preserving the character and community that had made Patsy’s a local favorite since 1998.
Together, they purchased Patsy’s with a simple promise: honor its history while investing in its future.
Over the past year, they’ve worked to breathe new life into the pub through thoughtful updates, remodeling, and improvements. Every change has been made with one purpose—to create a warm, inviting space that longtime regulars still recognize as home, while welcoming a new generation of guests who will create memories of their own.
The heart of Patsy’s has never changed.
It’s still the place where friends become family, strangers become regulars, live music fills the room, karaoke creates unforgettable nights, and every guest is welcomed with genuine Irish hospitality.
As Patsy’s celebrates one year under new ownership, it’s also celebrating something much bigger—a community that has supported this neighborhood pub for nearly three decades.
This celebration is about everyone who has walked through its doors over the last 28 years. The regulars who have been here since the beginning. The new friends who discovered Patsy’s this past year. The musicians, karaoke singers, bartenders, servers, cooks, and every guest who has helped write the next chapter of its story.
On Saturday, September 19, everyone is invited to celebrate “The Grand Opening They Never Had” and raise a glass to one incredible first year of new ownership, while honoring a tradition that began in 1998.
