Today we show our appreciation to all the dads, step-dads, grandpas, great grandpas, and father figures who have touched our lives!
And of course, for us we remember our founder, Mr. Ralph Primo. From opening a donut shop on whim to support his family, to the many acts of service he provided for his community, Mr. Primo's tireless dedication to his donut craft, his city and his wife, children and grandchildren, continue to inspire us.
So join us in thanking all the wonderful fathers who have shaped our lives, as we thank the one who helped make our donuts and our family shop the place it is today!

Father's Day is almost here, and at Primo's, we're feeling truly appreciative of all the father figures in our lives!
From our own Mr. Primo, whose hard work made our donuts (like our classic buttermilk) the LA classics they are today, to the generations of fathers, grandfathers and even great-grandfathers, who have shared precious moments with their families at our humble shop, we are so grateful for their strength, courage and love.

Next weekend is Father's Day, and we're celebrating all the dads, step-dads, and grandpas at Primo's with a crunchy new treat!
Introducing the Pecan Caramel Crunch donut! We take our classic fluffy round donut, dip it in delicious maple icing, cover it with pecans and drizzle it with a light caramel glaze!

This Memorial Day, we once again honor the tremendous sacrifices made by the brave men and women of the US armed forces in service of our country.
Our own Mr. Primo, standing here with a childhood friend on the day of their enlistment, was fortunate enough to return from his tour during the Korean War.
Still, we remember and humbly thank all those who have made the ultimate sacrifice defending the Unuted States in combat.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to all who have fallen while in service to our country. We are forever grateful.

National Donut Day is just two weeks away, and at Primo's, we're getting ready to celebrate the first friday of June with all our classic donuts!
We'll have our beloved old fashioned Buttermilk Bars, made fresh with hot glaze!
We'll have our unique creations like our Butterfly donut, mixed with cinnamon, drizzled with glaze and topped with cake crumb!
We'll have our traditional cake donuts covered in chocolate, maple, vanilla and cherry icing (and quite a few sprinkles)!
We'll have our massive Apple Fritters, Vanilla Cinnamon Rolls, and Chocolate bars, along with classic glazed donuts and twists!
(We may even have a few surprises that our bakers have been experimenting with to share!)

We are so grateful for the loving kindness, patience, strength, and wisdom that so many incredible women, like our own Mrs. Primo, show us every day. Without her tender presence and leadership, our little family donut shop would not be what it is today.

Mother's Day is just a few weeks away, and we're alreading excited to show our love to all the wonderful mothers in our lives! And one of the best ways to celebrate is at Primo's!
All of our classic donuts are the perfect treat to share with mom, but we're also bringing back our special Mother's Day Donuts! We take our traditional donuts, glazed in smooth vanilla, chocolate or cherry icing, and them top them with decadent pink chocolate curl shavings!

Easter Sunday is fast approaching, and we had so much fun decorating them last year, that we're once again making our delicious Easter Egg Donuts!
In regular size and minis, these egg shaped donuts are coated in vanilla icing dyed in a variety of colors, and decorated with more icing designs brighten any Easter basket!
We also have our raised a cake donuts in Spring floral pastel icing with light sprinkles. Or if looking for even more flavorful treats, or classic cake donut with coconut and jelly bean centers will be available (in limited supply so be sure to call or order online)!

To get to the doughnut shop at Sawtelle Boulevard in Los Angeles, there are multiple options available for both public transport and driving/parking.
For those taking public transportation, you can take the Metro Expo Line to Westwood/Rancho Park station; from there, you can transfer onto a Santa Monica Big Blue Bus (Route 7) that will take you to the corner of Sawtelle Boulevard and Mississippi Avenue. Alternatively, you can take the Culver City Bus (Route 1) to Sepulveda Boulevard and Mississippi Avenue, which is just a short walk from Sawtelle Boulevard.
If you are driving, there is street parking available along Sawtelle Boulevard and neighboring side streets. However, parking during peak hours may be limited. There are also several paid parking lots nearby that offer hourly rates.
Once at Sawtelle Boulevard, the doughnut shop will be located somewhere along the street. Look out for signs or ask locals for directions if needed.
