In 1985, five strangers walked into Saturday detention — and walked out as something more.

Claire was 17, the princess with everything, who discovered she was more than her parents' trophy. Bender was 25, the criminal with the attitude and the fist in the air, who dared everyone to see past the stereotype. Andrew was 22, the athlete who taped a kid's butt together and finally admitted he was tired of winning. Allison was 22, the basket case who ate cereal sandwiches and stole hearts without saying a word. And Brian was 16, the brain with the flare gun in his locker, who wrote the essay that said it all.

To get to the pub located on Rosecrans Avenue in Bellflower, you can take the Metro Blue Line and get off at the Lakewood Boulevard Station. From there, you can take a westbound bus and get off at the intersection of Rosecrans Avenue and Bellflower Boulevard.

If you prefer driving or parking, take the I-605 and exit at Rosecrans Avenue. Continue driving west on Rosecrans for about 2 miles until you reach Bellflower Boulevard. Look for street parking along Rosecrans or nearby side streets.
