Second time in a month. They didn’t find any cash so they just trashed everything instead. They ransacked my mom’s office and smashed my grandmother’s trinkets from Peru. They destroyed things that mean something to us for absolutely no reason. We’re sweeping up the rocks and glass now. We aren’t closing. We’ll be open for service today.

Easter is about family, and for us, that means a lot of time in the kitchen at Sabor a Peru. We’re getting the trays ready, savory oven baked steak empanadas, our classic Arroz con Leche and Mazamorra Morada, and a mountain of Alfajores.
You could get a generic dessert from the grocery store, or you could bring something to the table that actually has some history behind it. We’re right here in Covina if you want the real deal. Let’s keep the tradition going.
