It all began with a dinner event…
In the vibrant streets of Los Angeles, two Italian friends,Marco and Valentina, found themselves drawn together by their shared passion for food and hospitality.

Each with their own unique skills honed over two decades in the industry—came together to embark on an exciting culinary adventure.

Marco, the head of the group, has many years of experience in hospitality. Before landing in LA, he opened a beautiful boutique hotel in beautiful Sardinia, where he amazed his guests with delicious homemade food prepared daily using locally sourced ingredients from farmers. Not content with the beauty of Sardinia, he decided to move to Maui to manage the Waldorf Astoria Hotel.

Valentina, the artist and soul of Spaghetti Noir, learned to cook from her grandmother when she was seven years old. She specialized in homemade pasta and pastries, and she was known for her ravioli with potatoes, mint and pistachio,which she invented.

Their paths crossed one night at an event in Beverly Hills, where Marco was overseeing operations and Valentina was showcasing her culinary skills as a guest chef. As they bonded over plates of homemade pasta and glasses of wine, their friendship began to blossom. After a few years, they realized they shared a common dream: to create a catering company that would bring the best experience of Italy to the diverse palate of Los Angeles.

And so, Spaghetti Noir was born.
