Mami Isa is back with her classic Arroz con Pollo a cilantro and garlic sauced rice and chicken. And yes Causa, Causita, Causa! Causa is a cold mashed potato spiced up to the next level with a slight citrus, aji amarillo taste profile, stuffed with a chicken salad mix. You can’t have just one bite “causa”!

Loco 😜 Locro makes everything better. A silky stew packed with flavor (and good for you vitamins), served with a pan fried pork chop (or chicken)

Fun Fact: locro, refers to a stew, has been registered in writings from Spanish conquistadors and missionaries as early as 1590 (however they did not create today’s Peruvian recipe)

Peruvian version contains ingredients native to the country (squash, potato, corn, ají amarillo and huacatay)

To reach the location on Alcove Avenue, if using public transport, take the bus or subway to Vermont/Sunset station. Walk 10 minutes south on Vermont and take a right onto Alcove Avenue.

If driving, head east on Sunset Boulevard until you reach Vermont Avenue. Turn left onto Vermont and continue south for about half a mile before taking a right onto Alcove Avenue.

Parking is limited in the area but there is usually street parking available nearby. Alternatively, there are paid parking lots within walking distance of the location.
