The Calm Before the Pasta Storm
While the rest of the city was still hitting snooze, our kitchen was already at full throttle. Scaling up for 1,000 meals today wasn’t just a goal—it was a high-stakes, precision operation.
The steam from our massive kettles filled the air as the heavy lifting began. It took grit, passion, and some seriously large wooden paddles to prep enough of our legendary meat sauce to feed 1,000 hungry neighbors.
How it all came together:
• The Foundation: Pounds of ground meat were browned to perfection in our industrial steam kettles.
• The Signature: We added our hand-squeezed tomato base and that secret blend of seasonings that makes us who we are.
• The Slow Simmer: The sauce simmered while being stirred constantly with those iconic paddles to ensure every bite tasted like home.
This was more than just a routine; it was a Route 66 tradition in action. From the first turn of the paddle to the last plate that left the window, every person on the team moved with purpose.
We were ready for the rush, and we were ready for you.

We are incredibly proud to celebrate nearly 25 years of partnership with Oparc! 🍝🤝
For decades, this collaboration has been about more than just business—it’s about community, opportunity, and belonging. Every Wednesday, Oparc participants join us to help care for the restaurant, and we share a pasta lunch together when the work is done.
From Buzz’s mother introducing the organization in the 60s to the work we do today, we are grateful for every moment. Thank you to Oparc for the important work you do! ❤️

From 6 stools on the highway to the largest spaghetti house in the West! 🍝✨
In 1945, Grandma Rose didn’t even have a kitchen in the restaurant. She cooked everything 50 yards away and hand-carried it to customers right on Highway 70-99.
Fast forward to today:
📍 3 family-owned locations
🍝 30 TONS of spaghetti served monthly
🌎 25,000 miles of noodles a year (that’s enough to circle the Earth!)
But one thing hasn’t changed: We are still serving Grandma Rose’s original recipes. Come taste the history.

If you prefer public transportation, take the Bus 66 towards Pomona Transit Center from the Metrolink Station in Rancho Cucamonga. Get off at Foothill Blvd and Hermosa Ave stop and walk westward until you reach your destination.
