It’s October 1st, and the colors of fall have arrived in store🍁
Our Boulangerie, next door to MOULIN Maison, is our central bakery for all cafés & is open to the public from 7AM to 2PM.
If you’re an early bird, or you’re just looking for a quick snack, we recommend stopping by this location to grab a few Viennoiseries and an espresso. Perhaps a sandwich.. for the ride home 😉
Boulangerie is located at 1000 Bristol St N, in suite 24. Just a few hundred feet from our Newport location, this is a quiet little corner where you can sip, shop, or grab and go. Seating available.
Our home goods store, MOUIN Maison, is open from 10 to 5pm. 🇫🇷
Note - this location does NOT offer our kitchen menu, refrigerated Pâtisserie, or hot display items.

Enjoy a limited selection of our classic baked goods from 7am to 2pm, and shop for home goods next door from 10am to 5pm.
This location also serves coffee, chilled beverages, and a limited selection of sandwiches. Open 7 days a week. 🇫🇷

You came to Moulin for the croissant… but have you seen the w**e cellar? 👀🍷🇫🇷
We’re starting a new little tradition at Moulin Newport Beach: once a month, we’ll introduce you to one of the bottles hiding on our shelves.
First up: L’Oratoire des Papes — Châteauneuf-du-Pape.
And this one has a few things to say.
🍷 THE RED — 2023
Châteauneuf-du-Pape is famous for its incredibly diverse soils, and L’Oratoire des Papes brings together grapes from four different terroirs — rolled pebbles, sand, limestone and red sandstone — in one bottle.
In other words: this isn’t just a Châteauneuf-du-Pape.
It’s almost a little tour of Châteauneuf-du-Pape.
Grenache-led, elegant, spicy, full of fresh red fruit and surprisingly refined.
🥂 THE WHITE — 2022
Yes… white Châteauneuf-du-Pape exists. And it represents only around 7% of the appellation’s production.
The surprise? This is the South of France, but the w**e is remarkably fresh, mineral and precise.
Think Châteauneuf-du-Pape with a little Burgundian attitude: texture and complexity, but plenty of freshness. Most of it is raised in concrete, with just a touch of French oak.
And that iconic label? Its story goes all the way back to 1926.

If you are travelling to Forest Street in Laguna Beach and prefer using public transportation, take the bus to the nearest stop which is located at Pacific Coast Highway and Broadway Street. Once you arrive, you can walk south on Broadway Street towards Forest Avenue until you reach the restaurant.
In case you are going by car, there are several parking options available. Firstly, there is on-street parking along Forest Avenue or Broadway Street. Additionally, you can park at the nearby parking lots such as Glenneyre Parking Structure or Lumberyard Parking lot.
The directions mentioned above will lead you to a French restaurant as well as a coffee shop and breakfast/brunch restaurant located on Forest Street in Laguna Beach without specifically mentioning MOULIN.

French restaurants are known for their exquisite cuisine, charming ambiance, and impeccable service. MOULIN on Forest Street in Laguna Beach is no exception. One of the highlights of MOULIN is their Classic Bouillabaisse, which is a seafood stew that includes sea bass, scallop, shrimp, octopus, and mussels served with crostinis and rouille sauce. It's a "real deal" approved dish that will transport you straight to Marseille.
