In case you missed it… 👀🔥
Yesterday we had the opportunity to join KCAL/CBS Los Angeles and share the story behind Axiom Kitchen, Axiom Productions, and our newest event, Smoke & Oak.
What started as a dream and a passion for bringing people together through food has grown into so much more than we ever imagined. From catering and community events to producing festivals and creating experiences that celebrate great food, great people, and great memories, it’s been an incredible journey.
During the segment, Ian talked about our approach to BBQ, shared some tri tip tips, and gave viewers a look at what goes into the food we serve. We also had the chance to talk about Smoke & Oak and what we’re building here in Long Beach.

We’re still smiling after this morning’s live segment on .
As small business owners, moments like this never get old. Every opportunity to share our food, our story, and our passion with a larger audience is something we never take for granted.
A huge thank you to the entire CBS/KCAL team for having us, and a special thank you to the producers who worked behind the scenes to make everything run so smoothly. Live television is a lot of work, and we’re grateful to have been part of it.

Today was also a reminder of how far we’ve come. What started as a small BBQ business has grown into so much more. Through and , we’ve had the opportunity to serve our community, produce large-scale events, and build something bigger than we ever imagined.

Yesterday morning, after wrapping up another incredible Long Beach BBQ Festival two weeks ago, we had the honor of continuing one of the traditions that means the most to us…serving lunch at the Long Beach Rescue Mission.
Every year, we take some of the energy, support, and generosity from the festival and bring it directly back into the community. This year was especially meaningful, and we’re so grateful to everyone who helped make it happen.
A huge thank you to for allowing us to serve, to our incredible volunteers and partners, and to for coming out and helping share the story.
For us, this is personal.
There was a time in our lives when we experienced homelessness ourselves. We know what it feels like to struggle, to wonder what’s next, and to need a helping hand. That’s why opportunities like this are so important to us. Being able to serve a hot meal isn’t just about food…it’s about dignity, compassion, and reminding people that they matter.
We’re thankful for everyone who stood alongside us yesterday and helped us give back to a community that has given so much to us.

One of my favorite events of the year ❤️🌺
This weekend we had the opportunity to attend the and Taste of Aloha event for the third year in a row, and somehow it just keeps getting better.
Every year we’re blown away by the creativity, the food, the drinks, and the amount of talent packed into one place. It’s always inspiring to see what happens when so many people who genuinely love food get together and share what they do best.
A huge thank you to .guinto , Foodbeast, King’s Hawaiian, and everyone involved for continuing to put together such an incredible experience and for inviting us back year after year.
As business owners, we spend so much time working events that it’s nice to occasionally attend one, relax, eat amazing food, catch up with friends, and appreciate all the hard work that goes into creating something special.
We’re grateful to have been part of it again and already looking forward to next year. 🤙🏽🔥

To get to Norse Way in Long Beach, you can take the Metro Blue Line and get off at the Wardlow Station. From there, you can walk east on Wardlow Road for about 10 minutes until you reach Norse Way.
If you prefer to drive, take the 405 Freeway and exit at Lakewood Boulevard. Head south on Lakewood Boulevard until you reach Wardlow Road. Turn left onto Wardlow Road and continue until you reach Norse Way.
There is street parking available on Norse Way and nearby streets. However, be sure to check for any parking restrictions or time limits before leaving your car.
