Axiom Kitchen is bringing something a little different to Smoke & Oak this Saturday!!
We wanted this menu to feel like us. It brings together the barbecue we are known for, the flavors Ian grew up with, and a few special things we do not get to serve every day.
We are serving Japanese A5 Wagyu, including New York strip, ribeye and short ribs, along with burnt ends, chicken Kelaguen and caviar.
The Wagyu speaks for itself, the burnt ends bring the smoke and richness we love, and Kelaguen brings in a taste of Guam and something that is personal to our family. The caviar is just us having a little fun and doing something unexpected 😉☺️
Smoke & Oak gives us a chance to show a different side of Axiom Kitchen and serve food that still feels familiar to us, just in a more elevated way.
We cannot wait for you to try it Saturday.

Smoke & Oak is going to be 🔥🔥!!!
We are honored to have Island Reggae legend SIAOSI performing LIVE at Smoke & Oak this Saturday 🔥
Born in Oʻahu and raised between Hawaii and Southern California, Siaosi has spent more than two decades building a sound rooted in island reggae, R&B and Polynesian influence.
He’s collaborated with Fiji, J Boog, Peetah Morgan and Jemere Morgan, and his albums Blue Room and Everything Is Good reached #9 on Billboard.
Now he’s bringing that sound to Smoke & Oak, along with Otai B**r. 🍺🌺

We’re officially TWO WEEKS AWAY!! 🥃🔥
September 5th, we’re taking over Promenade Square Park AND bringing Smoke & Oak out onto the Promenade in Downtown Long Beach.
We’ve got unlimited food tastings, curated wh***ey tastings, Japanese A5 Wagyu, caviar, live music, SIAOSI , Acoustic Soul Express , Bread & Butter , a live harpist, Frank Preciado , special tastings from restaurants along the Promenade and more surprises we haven’t even told you about yet. 👀
This is our 2nd Smoke & Oak in Long Beach and we’ve been putting so much into making the entire area feel like an experience, not just another food event.

Thank you to everyone who shared our post, called around, put the word out, etc. Our Axiom truck had been FOUND and with minimal damage!! We have to see what was all messed up but according to the officer it just has a missing battery, one flat tire and something with the dash. We’re so happy it wasn’t stripped lol!!!

🚨 PLEASE SHARE — OUR AXIOM KITCHEN TRUCK WAS STOLEN 🚨
Our 2004 Chevy Silverado was stolen near Indian Creek Rd & Ash Creek Rd in Cerritos. (Left side of the video)
This isn’t just one of our vehicles. This is the truck we use for Axiom Kitchen…hauling our smoker, equipment, supplies, food, and everything we need to show up for pop-ups, catering jobs, and events.
If you’re in the area, PLEASE keep an eye out. If you live nearby, we’re also asking everyone to check their Ring cameras, security cameras, and dash cams for anything that may have captured the truck or the people who took it.
I’m including photos and video so you can see exactly what the truck looks like.
If you spot it, please do not approach anyone. Take note of the location and direction of travel, contact police, and please DM us with any information.
Our Axiom community has always shown up for us, and right now we could really use as many eyes on this as possible.

To get to Norse Way in Long Beach, you can take the Metro Blue Line and get off at the Wardlow Station. From there, you can walk east on Wardlow Road for about 10 minutes until you reach Norse Way.
If you prefer to drive, take the 405 Freeway and exit at Lakewood Boulevard. Head south on Lakewood Boulevard until you reach Wardlow Road. Turn left onto Wardlow Road and continue until you reach Norse Way.
There is street parking available on Norse Way and nearby streets. However, be sure to check for any parking restrictions or time limits before leaving your car.
