Monte 52 was a beloved sandwich shop and deli located inside La Tropicana market on Monte Vista Street in Highland Park, Los Angeles. They served gourmet sandwiches, salads, burgers, and sides that were highly praised by locals. The restaurant also offered limited pre-made grab & gos that sold out quickly. The menu highlighted the Sunday specials such as prosciutto, burrata, green olives marinated in chili-mandarin oil on baguette and grilled cheese with turkey, fontina cheese, caramelized onions, tomato, Mayo and Dijon on rye. They also had an authentic Jambon et Beurre sandwich with fresh mozzarella, red onions and tarragon Dijon on ciabatta. Sadly however, Monte 52 permanently closed its doors in August 2020 after serving the community for over seven years.

To get to Monte Vista Street in Los Angeles by public transport, you can take the Metro Bus 181 or the Metro Rail Purple Line to the Wilshire/Normandie stop. From there, you can walk north on Normandie Avenue and take a left on Monte Vista Street.
