To our Laguna Beach community,
We’ve seen the images circulating of the trash overflow outside our Laguna Beach store this past Saturday, and we want to address it directly. This is not acceptable, and it does not reflect the standards we hold ourselves to or the respect we have for Peppertree Lane and our city.
Laguna Beach is our home, and keeping it clean and beautiful is a responsibility we take to heart. We fell short of that this weekend, and we own that completely.
Since Saturday, we have met with the city multiple times to identify immediate solutions. Together, we are adding additional trash receptacles in our area and increasing pickup frequency during peak hours to prevent this from happening again.
We also want to be transparent: keeping a high-traffic area clean is an ongoing effort, and it truly benefits from all of us doing our part. We welcome and appreciate any support our community can offer in maintaining the spaces we share.
We are committed to doing better, and we’re grateful to everyone who brought this to our attention. That accountability, from both you and from us is what makes this community worth protecting.

STAYING OPEN AND KEEPING IT SAFE
To our loyal Gelato Paradiso community,
During this uncertain time, Gelato Paradiso wants our guests to know that we will remain in service to our guests as an open take-out and delivery venue. We take the health and well-being of our customers and employees very seriously.
The following practices are in place at each of our locations:

Guests will be asked to follow the 6 feet of social distancing in the store.

Our employees are implementing extraordinary sanitary practices in addition to our already strict standard cleansing practices. This includes wiping and sanitizing every touched surface after every guest transaction.

We have canceled samples temporarily. Rest assured our gelato is fresh and delicious. Our recipes are free of artificial ingredients, so our flavor profiles are truthful.

Our patio seating is temporarily closed to ensure we remain a truly take-out and delivery venue.

We will offer delivery through Uber Eats and Grubhub.

Our touch screen loyalty screen and credit card swiper will be either solely operated by our baristas or will be wiped down with sanitizing solution after every transaction.

To get to the ice cream shop and ice cream parlor located on S Coast Highway in Laguna Beach, there are a few transportation options available. For those using public transport, there is a bus stop located near the shop that can be accessed by taking the Orange County Transit Authority (OCTA) buses numbered 1, 55 or via the free trolley service.
For those driving to the shop, there is paid street parking available on S Coast Highway as well as in nearby lots. Drivers can take either Pacific Coast Highway or Laguna Canyon Road to reach the shop.
