Hike #2: Tijeras Creek Loop

Another great local hike for our next beautiful and sunny day! Start this hike at the corner of Bienvenidos and Antonio Pkwy. You can make this hike a short couple miles, or a 5+ mile morning. Watch out for the mountain bikers!

Hike #1: O’Neill Park.

Okay, this is more of a stroll than a hike. But this convenient walk through the upper portion of O’Neill Park is a staple. Park along El Camino Montana to access the paved 2 mile out and back, or the Mesa trail that runs parallel. Stop by Elissimo on your way over, and it’s the perfect way to start the morning.

To get to the restaurant and coffee shop located in Aventura in Rancho Santa Margarita, there are different options for public transport or driving/parking.

Public transport:
- Take the Metrolink train to Laguna Niguel/Mission Viejo station. From there, take Bus 82 towards RSM via Santa Margarita Parkway. Get off at the stop near the intersection of Santa Margarita Parkway and Avenida de las Flores, and walk for about 5 minutes to reach your destination.

Driving/Parking:
- From Interstate 5, take the Alicia Parkway exit and head east towards Mission Viejo. Turn right onto Santa Margarita Parkway and continue for about 3 miles. Aventura will be on your left-hand side with ample parking available.
