Tokyo Shabu Shabu Pasadena, a renowned shabu-shabu restaurant located on S Lake Avenue, was established in 2006. With a commitment to providing excellent dining experiences coupled with great service, high quality meat, and fresh vegetables, Tokyo Shabu Shabu quickly became a favorite among locals. The restaurant maintained a modern look while preserving the classic Tokyo/Japanese decor. In addition to their original Rowland Heights location, they expanded to open two more locations in Monterey Park in 2010 and Pasadena in 2012. Voted Best Japanese restaurant in Los Angeles for two consecutive years (2014&15), Tokyo Shabu Shabu offered healthy and delicious options with nothing artificial or unnatural. Unfortunately, this business is now permanently closed.

2. From Burbank: Take the CA-134 E towards Pasadena/Glendale. Merge onto CA-134 E/CA-210 E and take exit 26A for Hill Avenue/South Pasadena. Keep left at the fork, follow signs for Hill Avenue and merge onto St John Ave/Hill Ave. Continue straight onto S Hill Avenue, then turn left onto E Green Street and finally turn right onto S Lake Avenue.
