"I have worked for CPK for well over a decade and life has taken me on a full-blown adventure. I started CPK my first year of college; fast forward to now and I am married to my beautiful wife, became a foster parent, purchased a home and adopted my son. I got married right after gay marriage became legal in 2013 to my wife – who coincidentally has the same name I do. We are often referred to as The Amanda’s, Amanda x 2, and Team Amanda. We explored our options to start a family and ended up becoming licensed foster parents. Becoming a foster parent is one of the most stressful and rewarding experiences of my life. The entire foster care system is often flawed but my son makes every second of it worth it. We received our son at three days old and he has completely changed our world. Raising a black child as a white le***an is not for the faint of heart. There has been much education on our end as le***ans to raise a child who is prideful in his own background. As a mixed family, we have often faced discrimination when out in public. Luckily that is not something I have ever worried about while working at CPK. I have always known CPK to encourage me to be my most authentic self and never hide any aspect of who I am. I am thankful for a workplace that has embraced me and my unique family."

To get to CPK in Costa Mesa using public transport, you can take the bus or train and stop at the nearest station – South Coast Plaza. From there, it is just a short walk to the restaurant.
If you prefer to drive, you can take the I-405 freeway and exit at Bristol Street. Turn left on Anton Boulevard and after a few blocks turn right onto Bear Street. You will see the restaurant on your right-hand side.
There is parking available at the South Coast Plaza mall, where CPK is located. Alternatively, there are plenty of street parking options nearby as well.
