Take the metro Red Line and get off at Hollywood/Vine Station. From there, take bus 180 or 181 towards Hollywood Hills and get off at Argyle Ave. The hotel/cafe is just a few minutes walk from the bus stop.
Option 2: Driving/Parking
If you're driving, take the 101 freeway and exit at Sunset Blvd. Turn onto N Highland Ave and continue for a few blocks before turning right onto Franklin Ave. Finally, turn left onto Argyle Ave where you'll find parking options near the hotel/cafe.
