This SUNDAY - July 19 is National Ice Cream Day and the Beach Streets event (https://longbeach.gov/beachstreets) is happening right in front of our shop Downtown.
Most of Broadway Ave and Pine Ave will be closed to cars so you can ride, scooter, skateboard, roller and simply walk the Beach Streets in safety from 11am to 4pm.
Our Downtown shop at 222 East Broadway Ave will open at 11am. Our Bixby Knolls shop at 4141 Long Beach Blvd will open at 12 noon. Both shops close at 10pm.
Come celebrate with us and get 2 scoops for the price of 1 - all day - all shops!
SURPRISE: Crispy Mallow will make a return in pints and scoops for Sunday!! Candied crispy rice cereal and swirls of house-made pink marshmallow fluff folded into vanilla ice cream, pure marshmallow magic.

They are a little wider and so much easier to clean. One day of demo and one day of installation - super simple and Anthony & Steve worked clean watching out for all our important equipment. Oh… and got us open in time today!

Summer hours start this week and go until Labor Day!
We stay open until 10pm on Thursday and Sunday at both shops. Downtown, where all you night owls hang, we will be open until 11pm Friday and Saturday!

Big thanks today to Konrad and to Peter and team from Parker’s Refrigeration and Cal Installs for breaking down the storefront.
Peter and I have another big day tomorrow - finalizing the installs. I can’t wait to see this new case in action.
Much appreciation and love to the CaraMel (girl character by ) gelato case - 11 years of great service and maybe more if there is some magic!!

To reach the location at East Broadway Avenue in Long Beach, those who prefer public transportation can take the Metro Blue Line and get down at Downtown Long Beach Station. From there, they can walk towards the east direction on 1st Street until they reach East Broadway Avenue.
For those who drive to the location, they can take the I-710 South and exit on Broadway. They can then turn right onto Broadway and head east for a few blocks until they reach their destination. Parking is available on the street and in nearby parking lots.
