Their mission was to deliver a quality and consistent fresh product in a fraction of the time it takes. Throughout the years, they posted various updates and announcements on social media, including their grand opening in 2014 which was supported by the City of Compton, Mayor Aja Brown, Prophet Walker, Mad Mac Foundation, Los Angeles County Sheriff Department Youth Activities League, Sweet Savvy Media, volunteers, friends, family, and youth. Unfortunately, Renita's Chicken & Grill has permanently closed.

To get to the location on N Long Beach Boulevard in Compton, you have a few options:
Public Transport:
1. From downtown Los Angeles, take the Metro Blue Line towards Long Beach.
2. Get off at the Artesia Station and transfer to the Metro Bus Line 130 heading southbound.
