Babouch Restaurant, a Moroccan and Middle Eastern restaurant located on S Gaffey Street, had a long-standing presence in the San Pedro community. With a history of forty-five magical years, it became a popular spot for locals and food enthusiasts alike. The restaurant offered happy hour from 4pm to 7pm, providing an opportunity for patrons to enjoy their favorite dishes at discounted prices. Babouch Restaurant bid farewell to its loyal customers with a series of special events. On August 27th, they held an estate sale, allowing people to take home a piece of history. The following day, they hosted their Farewell Dinner, which was completely sold out for both seatings. As they celebrated the end of an era on August 29th, Babouch Restaurant expressed gratitude to all those who joined them throughout the years. Unfortunately, as of that day, the business has been permanently closed.
