Looking back at our recent Meet the Sultan event at LACMA, inspired by 'Dining with the Sultan: The Fine Art of Feasting,' an exhibition celebrating the rich tradition of feasting within the spirt of Islamic art.

Our guests enjoyed a culinary journey featuring dishes from 9th-century Baghdad, 13th-century Andalusia, and 15th-century Cairo, curated by Rays and Stark Bar’s chef, Nathan Washburn.

Professor Daniel L. Newman, Chair of Arabic Studies at the University of Durham, UK, joined us and expertly guided guests through the one of a kind experience.
