Something new is taking shape at Himalayan Group—and this may be one of the most meaningful projects we’ve ever worked toward. What you’re looking at is our vision for the future Himalayan Retreat Center, a place where the mountains, meditation, agriculture, beekeeping, and the traditions that have shaped our company can finally come together in one place.
For our president Kapil, this project is deeply connected to a journey that began more than 30 years ago when he came to America from Nepal and started building a life and a business from the ground up. Over the decades, one opportunity became another—relationships were built, stores opened, businesses grew, and what began with one entrepreneur eventually became Himalayan Group Inc.
Now, that journey is bringing us back to something much simpler: the land. Our vision is to gradually transform this hillside into a retreat surrounded by nature, with meditation huts, gardens, honey bees, walking paths, and spaces designed for people to slow down and reconnect. There is still a lot of work ahead, but we’re incredibly excited to finally begin sharing what we’re building next.
