As we celebrate 90 years of Stater Bros., we’re looking back at the people, moments and values that have shaped our story.
Jack H. Brown had a profound commitment to education and believed in creating opportunities for others. In 1993, in recognition of his personal generosity and dedication to education, the newly constructed home of the College of Business and Public Administration at California State University, San Bernardino was named Jack H. Brown Hall.
Engraved on a monument honoring his dedication are words that capture that belief:
“Before there can be equal opportunity in life... There must be equal educational opportunity for all.”
His commitment to education and community remains an important part of the Stater Bros. legacy as we celebrate 90 years of serving Southern California. ❤️
