Juneteenth isn’t just a moment in history; it’s a continuous reminder of resilience, freedom, and the ongoing journey toward true equality. Today, we honor the ancestors, celebrate Black culture, and recommit to the work that still lies ahead. Happy Juneteenth! ✊🏾✨

Dear Nest Nation,
After careful consideration and sought wisdom I have decided to cancel this Friday’s breakfast at night. being a black owned business you want to approach Juneteenth with the upmost integrity and thought, and as I continue to look at this event, it seemed more like a bookend and less like an intentional, cultural event. We live in a society that continues to do this to culturally derived holidays and Juneteenth especially with its resurgence in American consciousness. It has been co-opted by major organizations for their profit and benefit so we will not be following suit and felt it was in our best interest to cancel this Friday’s breakfast night and continue to find ways to illuminate an elevate black and brown culture. I apologize for any inconvenience and look forward to seeing you at next month’s Breakfast At Night.

To get to the breakfast & brunch restaurant and American restaurant located on Alondra Boulevard in Bellflower, you can take the Metro Blue Line and get off at A Line (Blue) Station. From there, it is a 10-minute walk to the restaurant.
If you prefer to drive, you can take the I-605 S and exit at Alondra Boulevard. The restaurant is located off of Alondra Boulevard between Clark Avenue and Downey Avenue. Parking is available in a lot adjacent to the building or on nearby streets.
