Since Tuesday, the McRig - a near full-size McDonald’s kitchen on wheels - has been providing meals to our heroic first responders at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, while the Snack Truck has been stationed across the San Fernando Valley and the BMO Stadium serving evacuees.

On September 15th, in honor of Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, Southern California McDonald’s restaurants are inviting customers to help them raise $15,000 for Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC), which helps keep families with critically-ill children in local hospitals together and near the care they need.

To get to the fast food restaurant and breakfast & brunch restaurant at Slauson Avenue in Huntington Park using public transport, you can take the Metro Bus 60 or 115 and get off at the Slauson/Santa Fe Station. From there, it's just a short walk to the restaurant.

If you prefer to drive, there is parking available at the shopping center where the restaurant is located. You can take the I-710 and exit on Slauson Avenue, then turn east and drive for about half a mile until you reach your destination on your right-hand side.
