Week 14 — The Illusion of Brotherhood Without Burden
I’ve been getting asked lately…

I’m doing this because I want people to actually do something with their habits.
Not just watch. Not just listen.
But pause… reflect… and take action. ⚡
This isn’t me telling you how to live.
This is me working on myself—out loud.
And inviting you to build your own path, not follow mine. 🛤️
Each week is a mirror.
What you do with it… is your move.
And this week, we go deeper:
Brotherhood. 🤝
Not the easy version.
Not just laughs, loyalty, and good times.

Today marks 11 years of Pizza 900 in Laguna Hills.
Eleven years ago we lit the fire in our ovens with a simple idea — bring people together through pizza and the cultures that inspire it.
Over the years our guests have become something much more than customers.
You’ve become friends, collaborators, and now even teachers.
Through your participation, 900 Academy has begun to grow inside our restaurant. What started as a simple idea is becoming something bigger — a place where local businesses, professionals, and entrepreneurs can mentor and empower the next generation of apprentices entering our workforce.
We are currently in Week 6 of our first semester, and the participation from our own team members has been incredible.
In about 5 weeks, we will officially open the classes to the general public.
But the real magic comes from the people in this community.
Many of our guests have already stepped in as guest speakers, sharing their stories, careers, and dreams with our students. And we want to invite even more of you to participate.

✨ What a weekend! ✨ We brought the full culinary trifecta to kovert Projects’ luxurious “Cars & Cocktails” event at AV Irvine, serving up a feast alongside Bugattis, Lamborghinis, and Ferraris. 🚗🍕🌮 From our Pizza 900 wood-fired pizzas to Taco 900’s authentic taco bar and the debut of our Med 900 mezze bar, we turned the evening into a foodie’s paradise. The best part? Hearing that we were the “hit of the party” from the hosts themselves! 🎉

Today would have been my father’s 88th birthday. 📚✨ He was an author, a philosopher, and the inspiration behind my book “Sweetest Kind of Death,” which we just started releasing chapter by chapter this week. Each week on , I’ll be sharing a piece of this 52-week journey that he inspired. This journey is about honoring his legacy and all the people who have brought inspiration into our lives. Let’s cook, reflect, and remember together. 🕊️❤️

For public transport, take the bus to Laguna Hills Mall bus station, which is a 5-minute walk from Lake Forest Drive. Alternatively, take the train to Laguna Hills Station and then transfer to the bus.
For driving/parking, exit the I-5 freeway at Lake Forest Drive and head east towards Laguna Hills. The pizza place and fast food restaurant are located on the right-hand side of Lake Forest Drive. There is ample parking available in the plaza where the restaurants are located.
For the Italian restaurant, continue on Lake Forest Drive past the pizza place and fast food restaurant. Turn right onto Avenida De La Carlota and then turn left onto Paseo De Valencia. The Italian restaurant will be on your right-hand side. There is limited parking available in front of the restaurant, but additional parking can be found in nearby lots or street parking.
