Mariscos Jalisco is a seafood and Mexican restaurant that started out as a food truck in Los Angeles in 2002, known for serving the best fried shrimp tacos in town. With accolades from food critics, writers, and bloggers across the nation, including being tagged as a "National Treasure" by Jonathan Gold, Mariscos Jalisco now has two different locations offering these unique and delicious tacos. Led by business owner Raul Ortega who has been in the food industry since he was a child selling steamed beef head tacos in Mexico, Mariscos Jalisco offers patrons an authentic taste of Mexico with their signature shrimp tacos.

Option 1 (Public Transport):
Take the Metro Local Bus 28, 68 or 757 to E Olympic Boulevard / S Lorena Street Station. Walk east on E Olympic Blvd and you will find a snack van and seafood restaurant on your left side. For the Mexican restaurant and food truck, continue walking for about 2 blocks.
Option 2 (Driving/Parking):
If driving from downtown Los Angeles, take the I-5 southbound and exit onto E Cesar Chavez Ave. Follow E Cesar Chavez Ave until you reach N Fickett St, then turn right. Continue straight onto E Olympic Blvd and you will find a snack van and seafood restaurant on your right side. For the Mexican restaurant and food truck, continue driving for about half a mile until you see it on your right side. There is street parking available along E Olympic Blvd but be sure to check signs for any parking restrictions.
