I placed our usual limited order of black Halloween t-shirts online, mostly for staff and myself: 10 Small, 10 Medium, 15 Large, 15 XL, 10 2XL, and 5 3XL.
They're estimated to arrive at George's around October 7. First come, first served until they run out.

Good Morning Family and Friends
We have something special to share. ā¤ļø
The California State Assembly presented Georgeās Drive-In with a certificate of recognition for 52 years of serving the Riverside community.
My parents opened Georgeās in 1974. What they started has grown through the hard work of our team and the support of generations of customers who have become part of our family. Weāre grateful to Assembly Member Leticia Castillo for recognizing that history.
To everyone who has stopped in for a meal, worked alongside us, or brought the next generation through our doors: thank you. This recognition belongs to all of you, too.

Good Afternoon, Family and Friends!
The Cali Burger started as the way I liked to make my own burgerābacon, avocado and cheese with all the fixings.
Now my daughter has started asking me to make her burger just like mine. Apparently, good taste runs in the family! šš
That got me wondering: Has your Georgeās order been passed down to the next generation?
What do you orderāand do your kids or grandkids now want the same thing?

Some things never changeā¦ including Riverside drivers. š
Take a close look at this old photo of Teenās Drive-In, before this location became Georgeās.
See the telephone booth on the left? Now look at the pole next to it. That pole was already bent back in the 1950s or ā60sāand it is still standing there bent today.
Apparently drivers werenāt any better back then, even with a lot less traffic on the road!
I always get a laugh out of showing customers this photo and then pointing out that the same pole is still here. The restaurant names, cars and telephone booth may be gone, but that bent pole has survived it all.
Does anyone remember the telephone boothāor know how the pole originally got bent?
