What people say
Oriel Chinatown is a French restaurant that offers a unique dining experience in the heart of Los Angeles. The restaurant boasts a cozy and intimate atmosphere, perfect for a romantic dinner or a night out with friends. Oriel's wine bar offers an extensive selection of French wines that perfectly complement their delicious menu.
One of the standout dishes at Oriel Chinatown is their Shepherd's Pie, which is perfect for a rainy day. The ground beef and vegetables are simmered into a savory sauce and topped with fluffy and creamy mashed potatoes that form a golden crust. Another must-try dish is their French Onion Soup, which starts with a cheese pull and is sure to warm you up on chilly nights.
The restaurant also offers freshly baked bread daily from Bub AND Grandma's, which pairs perfectly with their wine selection. Their Gnocchi รก la Parisienne is another crowd favorite - light and nearly crispy, cooked in brown butter and topped with curly parmesan.
Oriel Chinatown has temporarily closed its doors due to the pandemic but has expressed its love for its community through social media posts. They have promised to be back soon, ready to serve their loyal customers once again. If you're looking for an authentic French dining experience in Los Angeles, Oriel Chinatown should definitely be on your list!
