Dear Highland Park and surrounding neighborhoods, this morning we woke up to sad news.
Penny’s Burgers was burglarized.
Thankfully no one was hurt. We are using the platform to alert our fellow restaurants, friends and family to keep vigilant of what is going on around. Sadly, we were not the only ones as other businesses were impacted as well.
Thank you for your unconditional support. Penny’s Burgers will continue serving the community as it has been since 1969.

Fast food restaurants are a staple in many communities, offering quick and convenient meals for those on the go. Penny's Burgers, located on N Figueroa Street in Los Angeles, is a shining example of a fast food restaurant that not only provides delicious food but also supports its community.
Since 1969, Penny's Burgers has been serving up breakfast and dinner plates all day long. Their menu boasts classic American fare such as old-fashioned burgers and breakfast items like eggs and pancakes. And with great prices, it's no wonder why they have been a beloved spot in Highland Park for over 50 years.
But Penny's Burgers isn't just about the food - they also care about their employees and community. They frequently post job openings on social media, including one for a grill cook who must have experience in old-fashioned burgers and American breakfast menus. And they recently showed their support for local artists by commissioning a heritage mural that celebrates their history and culture.
Even during the COVID-19 crisis, Penny's Burgers has remained committed to serving their community while following all local ordinances. With their dedication to quality food and supporting their neighborhood, it's easy to see why Penny's Burgers is a must-visit spot for anyone looking for delicious fast food in Los Angeles.
