Before West Harbor was an idea… it was a memory.

Before they ever built West Harbor, Eric Johnson and his brother Alan grew up right here on this waterfront — riding bikes, watching ships, and experiencing the energy of San Pedro.

This isn’t a new story.
It’s a continuation.

Watch how it started —
and see where it’s going.

All of us at West Harbor are deeply saddened by the loss of Tommy Amalfitano.

Tommy was more than a leader of the San Pedro Fish Market, he was part of the soul of this waterfront. For generations, he helped shape a place where families gathered, traditions were honored, and San Pedro showed the world who we are.

His energy, his presence, and his commitment to this community will never be forgotten.

West Harbor is proud to stand alongside the San Pedro Fish Market, and we recognize that everything we are building today is rooted in the foundation that Tommy and his family created.

We extend our heartfelt condolences to the Amalfitano family, the entire Fish Market team, and the San Pedro community.

Tommy’s legacy lives on — in this harbor, in this town, and in every memory made by the water.

Tradition tastes better by the water.

For generations, Lent has meant gathering with family, honoring heritage, and sharing seafood together. At West Harbor — home of the legendary San Pedro Fish Market — that tradition lives on.

⚓️ Welcome to San Pedro, Queen Mary 2 ⚓️

This morning, the majestic Queen Mary 2 sailed past West Harbor on her way to the World Cruise Terminal, adding another unforgettable moment to our waterfront.

Just across the harbor in neighboring Long Beach rests the original Queen Mary, making today’s arrival a rare meeting of legacy and modern maritime elegance along our shared coastline.

The majesty keeps gracing our waterfront. 🌊🚢

Every day, the Port of Los Angeles moves because of the people who work it.

The men and women who guide ships, move goods, and keep the harbor running — around the clock, in all conditions.

From West Harbor, we see you.
We hear the horns.
We feel the rhythm of the port.

This waterfront exists because of your skill, responsibility, and commitment to this town.

With respect and gratitude to our hardworking friends and neighbors who make the Port of Los Angeles what it is.

Today marks a huge milestone as the Los Angeles Board of Harbor Commissioners has unanimously approved the certification of the Supplemental Environmental Impact Report (SEIR) for the West Harbor Modification Project.
