“[Vanessa] met Lydia (and her twin sister Marnie) when transitioning from chef to cheesemonger 10 years ago. Lydia quickly became someone she looked up to and admired. When Vanessa moved from San Francisco to Los Angeles looking for a job, Lydia played a vital role during the time leading up to opening Agnes. To this day, Vanessa & Thomas continues to admire Lydia, Reed, and Marnie’s work in the industry and deeply values their friendship and tenacity.”

Teresa was a great teacher and mentor during those early years as a young chef. As both of their careers evolved, they continued to stay close and have remained friends for nearly 20 years.”
