Causita is a Japanese-Peruvian cuisine restaurant located on W Sunset Boulevard in Silverlake. Despite having to close its doors due to building repairs and low weekday volume, Causita hopes to return with a new concept at a more appropriate location. In the meantime, the restaurant collaborates with talented chefs to host various pop-up experiences that are worth looking forward to.

To get to the restaurant located on W Sunset Boulevard in Los Angeles, you can take the Metro Bus 2 or 302 and get off at the nearest bus station which is just a short walk away. Alternatively, you can take the Metro Rail Red Line and get off at the Vermont/Sunset Station, from where you can walk or take a cab to the restaurant.
If driving, you can take W Sunset Boulevard Westbound until you reach the intersection of N Alvarado Street and W Sunset Boulevard. The restaurant will be on your right-hand side. There are several parking spaces along W Sunset Boulevard but they may be limited during peak hours. You may consider using a ride-sharing service to avoid parking issues.

Causita, located on W Sunset Boulevard in Los Angeles, offers a unique blend of Japanese-Peruvian cuisine that is sure to delight your taste buds. Although the restaurant has recently announced that it will not be reopening in its Sunset location following building repairs, we can't help but rave about the outstanding team and beautiful combinations of Nikkei Peruvian flavors that made Causita such a special place. The bold dishes were truly one-of-a-kind and we hope to see this concept revived in a more appropriate location soon. In the meantime, we highly recommend keeping an eye out for their pop-up experiences with incredibly talented chefs - you won't want to miss out! And if you were lucky enough to visit Causita before its closure, you know that their milk punches and drink specials were not to be missed. We can't wait to see what new concept will take over this space, but we'll always remember the amazing experience we had at Causita.
